Triumph TR Car Club
23 April 2023
We’re delighted to announce on 23 April 100 cars from the Windsor Forest Triumph TR Car Group will be visiting Amberley Museum!
Founded in 1970, the Triumph TR Register Car Club is one of the most successful single make car clubs in the world. The Club caters for the needs of owners past, present and future of the entire range of Triumph TR sports cars from TR2 to TR8. From our main office in Didcot Oxfordshire the club has two full time members of staff and 53 local groups representing the club across the UK and also within 39 countries worldwide.
This is a special year of celebration for Triumph as it is the 100th anniversary of the creation of the Triumph car manufacturing business. Additionally it is the 70th year anniversary of the design and creation of the Triumph TR sports car.
Every year in April there is a national classic car celebration day called “Drive it Day” where classic car owners are encouraged to get out in their classic cars on the road. For the 6 TR Register groups covering the South East one group takes it in turns to organise a Drive it Day annually. This year it is the turn of the Windsor Forest TR group who is organising this event kindly hosted by Amberley Museum.
Tickets must be pre-booked online for this event.
