October Half Term Activities

26, 27 & 30 October, 1-3 November 2024

Not-So-Scary Spider Trail – Sat 26, Sun 27 October & Wed 30 October to Sunday 3 November, all day.

We often associate spiders with Hallowe’en but they don’t have to be scary! Follow our family-friendly trail to find out more about these fascinating, eight-legged invertebrates, including rarer species found in the grounds of Amberley Museum.

Model your own pipe-cleaner spider to take home

Friday 1 November – Back by popular demand!

Have a go at the traditional craft of woodturning with the West Sussex Woodturners and take home a small wooden keepsake (£1.50 charge per person).

 

Visit the Pottery for ‘Potion Bottles & Cauldrons’ model with clay sessions.

Running from 12 Oct to 3 Nov. Additional price of £2.50 per person applies for this activity.

Please note the pottery will be closed on Friday 1 November.

Museum General Admission.

Train and bus rides are included for no extra cost.

Extra Information

Amberley Museum is located in the heart of the South Downs National Park. Often referred to as multiple museums in one, the Museum has over 20 exhibition areas.

The Limeburners Cafe will be open for lunches and snacks, ice creams and hot drinks are also available. There are also outdoor picnic areas.

Well behaved dogs on short leads are welcome.
