Get ready for a journey through the fascinating world of Industrial trains and Discworld magic at Amberley Museum.
Dive into Terry Pratchett’s beloved Discworld universe while exploring vintage locomotives and industrial marvels.
This is an opportunity to see the Museum in a new way as we link different areas of the displays with different Discworld quotes and encourage our visitors to develop their own creative responses.
Look out for things to see and do across the Museum, including;
- Unusual industrial locomotives and rolling stock from the Museum collection running at the far end of the site
- Displays and tours in the Railway Exhibition Hall
- A fabulous Discworld model railway on display in Humphrey’s Barn
- Book Sale with the Friends of Amberley Museum in the Hayloft
- Creative workshops for families in the Learning Space
Whether you’re a die-hard Discworld fan, an avid reader or a locomotive enthusiast, this event promises an unforgettable adventure!

Extra Information
Amberley Museum is located in the heart of the South Downs National Park. Often referred to as multiple museums in one, the Museum has over 20 exhibition areas.
The Limeburners Cafe will be open for lunches and snacks, ice creams and hot drinks are also available. There are also outdoor picnic areas.
Well behaved dogs on short leads are welcome.
