Collections at Amberley
Amberley Museum showcases and preserves the rural, transport, industrial and communications history of the south of England for the learning and enjoyment of today’s visitors and future generations.
This is made possible through the display and operation of a wide range of objects which form the Amberley Museum collection, owned by The Amberley Museum Trust.
To find out more about these collections please visit ‘Explore’
New additions to the Museum collection are only made where items fit the Museum’s current Collections Development Policy. In many areas, the Museum is no longer collecting any further items but if you have something you think would be directly relevant to the history of industry, communications or transport within the local area, please contact our Curator.
The majority of collections are on display, with limited material in store, but if you have a particular query about the collections or are interested in arranging a research visit to the Museum, please contact the Curator for information on access arrangements, out of hours access and charges.
