Christmas at Amberley Museum
1st & 2nd, 8th & 9th, 15th & 16th December

Open from 10am to 5pm, you can explore our 36 acre site and all our festive activities. 

Explore around our Museum and follow the Christmas trail.  Visit the wood turners to make your Christmas wooden items, and have fun playing with clay at the pottery.  ​Visit our craft stalls and enjoy children’s crafts.

A special festive admission price applies to our Christmas weekends: 
Adults £10, Children £8, Under 4’s and Members visit for Free.

One of our historic buses will be running to take you around our Museum, and our resident steam train Peter will be taking visitors for rides on our narrow gauge railway (please note: this service is from our railway station Cragside to Amberley for all visitors, but from Amberley to Brockham for Father Christmas ticket holders only).

Father Christmas tickets have now sold out. 
But you can still come along to explore our Museum at a festive price.

Amberley Museum & Heritage Centre is set in a 36 acre site in the South Downs National Park.
Dedicated to the industrial heritage of the South East, exhibits include a narrow-gauge railway and bus service
(both provide free nostalgic travel around the site).

Connected Earth Telecommunications Hall, Milne Electricity Hall, Printing Workshop and much more.
The Museum is also home to traditional craftspeople, such as the blacksmith and potter.
