Witching and Wizarding week
Half term - 20th to 28th October

Bring your little witches and wizards to Amberley Museum this half term to join in the sorcery. Throughout the week we will be selling whimsical wands and brewing powerful potions. Visit our face painter for a hideous transformation and embark on the Halloween trail. Our enchanting wood turners will be creating curious crafts from Wednesday until Sunday. Come along on Saturday to view birds of prey displays. Come dressed as a witch or wizard to receive a sweet treat.

Join us after hours for a hair-raising evening. Take part in a guided ghost walk and see birds of prey displays. Take a trip around our eerie museum on our ghost train and haunted bus. Be transformed into gruesome creature by our face painter.  

Christmas at Amberley Museum
1st & 2nd, 8th & 9th, 15th & 16th December

Open from 10am to 5pm, you can explore our 36 acre site and all our festive activities.  Visit our market stalls, enjoy children’s crafts and take part in our family Christmas trail.  Standard admission for our Christmas weekends:  Adults £10, Children £8, Under 4’s and Members visit for Free.

Father Christmas is visiting us on these special weekends, where you can ride our Christmas express train to visit him in our 19th century train ticket office.  Tickets for Father Christmas are pre-book only and available now from the link below.  Adults £10, Children £16 Under 4’s are £8. (to include your museum entrance ticket). 
Adult members are free, Child members £8.

This year Father Christmas will be arriving early each day to have breakfast with families from 9.00am in the cafe. This breakfast sitting is pre-book only and spaces are limited this includes your cooked breakfast, at £7 per adult and £5 per child.

Amberley Museum & Heritage Centre is set in a 36 acre site in the South Downs National Park.
Dedicated to the industrial heritage of the South East, exhibits include a narrow-gauge railway and bus service
(both provide free nostalgic travel around the site).

Connected Earth Telecommunications Hall, Milne Electricity Hall, Printing Workshop and much more.
The Museum is also home to traditional craftspeople, such as the blacksmith and potter.
